Marine Survey & Inspections

Seacorp holds an exclusive agreement with leading international inspection company, Saybolt, and a highly qualified team of marine surveyors to offer a comprehensive range of independent marine surveying and inspections.

Since acquiring the rights to set up the Saybolt inspection franchise in Australia and Timor Leste in 2002, Seacorp has undertaken a comprehensive range of Saybolt services, allowing for a qualified marine surveyor to undertake a critical examination (survey) of commercial and private marine vessels for a range of purposes.

These surveys and inspections include; Marine Surveyors - Marine Surveying

  • Draft surveys 
  • Hold condition surveys
  • Quality and quantity verification 
  • Sampling and analysis 
  • Vessel on/off hire surveys 
  • Bunker surveys 
  • Marine insurance surveys.

The agreement with Saybolt allows Seacorp to offer the independent quality and quantity verification that is vital in the event of disputes with suppliers.

All marine survey and inspections conducted under this agreement are subject to the Saybolt Quality Assurance System to ensure they meet national and international quality standards (ISO 9002).

The Saybolt group has been in operation since 1898 and is now represented with in excess of 150 offices in over 82 countries worldwide.

Core Laboratories of Houston, Texas acquired the group in 1997 thereby enhancing the company’s global positioning and diversification.

Throughout its diversified activities, Saybolt applies the highest standards and principles regarding ethics, quality, health and safety and protection of the environment.

These policies also apply to the services provided by Saybolt’s field personnel and professional staff.
