General Manager - Group of Companies - Michael O'Callaghan

 

Seacorp’s General Manager - Group of Companies, Michael O’Callaghan, has been involved in senior management in the mining, shipping and logistics industries for the last 35 years.

During his career, Mr. O'Callaghan was an integral part of WMC Resources Ltd for 23 years in their Nickel Division where his role was Production Coordinator and then Shipping Manager. Seeing an untapped niche market, Mr. O'Callaghan set forth to establish and develop his own company, Total Logistics Systems. For the past 4 years, Mr. O’Callaghan has been the Shipping Manager and subsequently, the Marketing Administration Manager for Consolidated Minerals Ltd.

Mr. O'Callaghan has been a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Export since 1997 and is currently the Western Australian Director for the Institute and a member of its Federal Board of Management; both in non-executive roles. He has served as a member of the Judging Panel of the W.A. Industry and Export Awards for over 15 years and has chaired the Panel since 2006.  Mr. O'Callaghan also held the position of inaugural Executive Officer of the Sea Freight Council of Western Australia and held that position from 1997-2003.

Mr. O’Callaghan brings to Seacorp a wealth of experience and knowledge further enhancing and complementing our well rounded team of specialists.
